O-rings are essential components of underwater camera housings. They serve as primary seals to prevent water from entering the housing.
Only use the silicone grease provided by Sea Frogs for lubricating the silicone O-rings. Do not use grease from other brands, as differences in consistency may lead to leaks.
O-rings should be replaced at least once a year or after 50 uses — whichever comes first.
If the housing will not be used for an extended period, remove the O-rings, apply a thin layer of silicone grease, and store them separately.
